The compact member of the AVIVA family

DHCare announced the AVIVA RX10 on 1 September 2026. The rear-wheel-drive powerchair has what the company describes as the shortest and narrowest wheelbase in the AVIVA series. The release positions it for everyday mobility and users with less complex requirements.

Controls, seating and service access

The RX10 uses LiNX technology and Invacare Action seating components. DHCare highlights setup and adjustment alongside access to key components for maintenance. The announcement does not give a complete dimensional specification or a retail price, so the family comparison should not be mistaken for a numerical comparison with other brands.

What the wheelbase does not tell you

A smaller wheelbase is one part of an indoor manoeuvre. The foot support, seating setup and space swept during a turn also affect a route through a home. During an assessment, repeat a real task such as approaching a table and leaving again.

Keep the exact seating and control configuration with the demonstration record. That makes it possible to compare the chair tried in person with the equipment ultimately supplied.
