Pride introduces Jazzy Assist in the UK.

In brief

  • UK announcement: 20 April 2026.
  • Ask to try each assistance feature on the exact configuration.

What was announced

Pride Mobility announced Jazzy Assist on 20 April 2026. Its release describes EZ-Pass turning assistance, rear-view camera assistance and an SOS function with tilt detection.

What to ask at a demonstration

Ask the supplier to demonstrate the exact chair and controller being supplied. Confirm how assistance is enabled, what the user continues to control and which connected features require setup.

Separate the features you will use

Begin with the movement you find difficult: approaching a doorway, reversing away from a table or manoeuvring in a confined room. Describe that task during the demonstration and ask which feature is intended to help. A camera view and assisted steering are different tools; understanding what the user still controls is part of choosing confidently.

Try the controls from your normal sitting position and ask how the chair indicates whether assistance is active. Keep the demonstration focused on ordinary tasks you expect to repeat.

Our perspective: assess the complete routine

Intelligent features are one part of an everyday mobility decision. Seat fit, storage space, carrying weight and local service still deserve time in a demonstration. Bring your measurements and discuss the battery configuration you intend to use.

Before ordering, ask for a quotation that names the features, accessories and setup included. If connected functions matter to you, ask who will help with initial setup and later support. A written record makes it easier to compare what was demonstrated with what is delivered.
