Four mobility modes

The Carbon Edge is designed to combine several mobility functions in one device, according to Monarch Mobility. Its Transport Mode provides assisted travel, while Walking Assist Mode supplies powered support when walking becomes tiring. Rehabilitation Mode uses resistance-based training, and Powerchair Mode enables seated movement through a joystick. The company presents the design as an option for people whose mobility requirements vary during the day.

Construction and usability

The rollator uses a lightweight carbon fibre frame with twin rear motors, adjustable handles and an adjustable backrest. It includes seating, footplates and a storage basket, alongside a compact folding design. Monarch says these integrated features are intended to make changing between walking and seated use straightforward. The Carbon Edge is offered in silver and red, although the source does not provide pricing or broader availability details.

Company and trade response

Monarch Mobility describes the product as giving users greater choice and independence as their daily needs change. The company also positions its carbon fibre design as combining walking support, powered assistance, rehabilitation resistance and powered wheelchair functionality for diverse customer needs. Retailers seeking further information can contact Monarch’s trade team. The supplier also recently reported a launch at REHACARE 2026 in Düsseldorf and new distribution partnerships across more than 20 countries.
