New Swindon location
CareCo is opening a showroom on the Elgin Industrial Estate at Elgin Drive, Swindon, SN2 8EA. The retailer describes the site as its 41st in the UK. The source says the opening is tomorrow, but does not provide a calendar date.
Accessible product trials
The showroom offers free parking, disabled parking spaces, step-free access, disabled toilets and a dog-friendly environment. Visitors can see mobility products, including mobility scooters, and ask an expert team questions. The space is designed to let people test and manoeuvre products while considering which options may work best for them.
Local and operational growth
CareCo founder Will Harrison says the company is selective about showroom locations and wants to engage with local communities. He presents the Swindon site as a welcoming place to explore options, ask questions and seek lifestyle support. CareCo has also opened a regional installation and servicing hub in Preston, which created six jobs and, according to the company, cut delivery and installation lead times by up to six days.
