New Derry location
Stairlift Solutions N.I. has opened its second stairlift and mobility showroom on the Maydown Industrial Estate in Derry, joining its existing Newtownards site in County Down. The company said the location is intended to improve service for customers across the north-west region. The showroom covers 3,500 square feet over two levels.
Products and opening event
The retailer is displaying stairlift models alongside mobility scooters, riser recliners, wheelchairs, rollators and other products. Members of the public, councillors, charity representatives, business owners and mobility-sector suppliers attended the official opening. Local celebrity Frank Mitchell, described by the company as its ambassador, cut the ribbon, while representatives of Access BDD Stairlifts, Electric Mobility and Scooterpac also attended.
Services and business claims
Managing director Michael Wallace said the company had received strong public interest, including interest in its Stannah stairlift range after becoming an official Stannah dealer in Northern Ireland. Stairlift Solutions N.I. says it provides free delivery, assembly and demonstrations across the province, with full-time engineers working throughout the region. It also claims round-the-clock, year-round after-sales care and says it has served more than 10,000 customers over 26 years.
