The route crossed 25 countries
TGA’s July profile follows Lachlan Campbell travelling through Europe with a WHILL C2. It names Krakow, the Dolomites and Croatia’s Krka National Park among the destinations, before the family returned home near Fort William. Lachlan lives with MND and founded the MindNotDefeated fundraising initiative to support affected families.
The article is a personal travel account. The country count describes the scale of one journey; it does not mean every attraction or surface in those countries is accessible.
The border is not the only transition
On a multi-country itinerary, a chair crosses several practical boundaries: between car and street, street and accommodation, and one service network and another. A familiar battery or part may be straightforward to source at home but less convenient during a short stay elsewhere.
Keeping a route file organised by overnight stop is more useful than keeping a folder of general country guides. Each stop needs its own arrival plan, usable room and next-day departure routine.

Keep the experiences separate from the specifications
A photograph of a chair beside a mountain or waterfall says little about the route used to reach it. When drawing ideas from a travel story, identify the exact viewpoint, entrance or path and check its current details. Preserve what the story offers—possibilities and lived experience—without turning it into an equipment capability test.
