Emma: beach time together in East Lothian

Emma describes borrowing a beach powerchair to enjoy the coast with family, alongside attractions where access remained incomplete.

A summary of the author’s own trip. Access details describe that visit and should be checked again before booking. Emma reports an initial visit working with Visit East Lothian and a later family visit she booked herself.

Different equipment for the sand

At North Berwick, Emma used a Magic Mobility Extreme X8 through a local beach-wheelchair service. She describes playing with her nephews and looking for shells. Equipment availability and transfer support were part of making the outing possible.

Access varied across the trip

At the National Museum of Flight she could explore much of the site but could not board aircraft reached by stairs. The story includes both enjoyable family experiences and the activities she missed. It does not turn a successful beach session into a general all-terrain product recommendation.
