Motability's Q4 2026 price list is live as of 1 October, covering applications through 31 December 2026: more than 670 vehicles, 60-plus nil or low advance payment deals, and some of the sharpest quarterly price cuts in recent memory — including two models now at £0 advance payment that cost hundreds last quarter.

In brief

  • Q4 2026 list published 1 Oct 2026; valid for applications 01/10/2026–31/12/2026, with 670+ vehicles and 60+ nil/low advance payment options.
  • Standout cuts vs Q3: Mini Cooper C Classic 156 Auto £249→£0, VW T-Roc Match 95 £899→£0, VW T-Cross Life 115 Auto £1,799→£699.
  • Powered wheelchairs and scooters have no Q4 update yet — the old pricing still applies; the next full price list lands 1 January 2027.

The headline numbers

Motability published its Q4 2026 price list on 1 October 2026, and applications placed between 1 October and 31 December 2026 are priced under this list. The headline figures: more than 670 vehicles are on offer across cars, WAVs and scooters, with over 60 available at nil or low advance payment. Nearly 80 wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs) have had their advance payments reduced this quarter, which is welcome news for anyone who needs a converted vehicle.

Nil advance payment: the standout picks

Eight models can currently be ordered with £0 advance payment (prices include 20% VAT): the VW T-Cross in petrol manual form, the Mazda 2 Hybrid, the Kia Picanto, the Nissan Juke (petrol manual), the all-electric Citroen C3, the all-electric Hyundai Inster, the Mini Cooper (petrol automatic) and the all-electric Suzuki eVitara. Nil advance payment means the weekly mobility allowance covers the lease in full — no lump sum is needed up front.

Under £500 and under £1,500

If you can stretch to a small advance payment, the 'from' figures are striking. The Nissan Juke starts from £99, the Qashqai from £249, the MG 3 from £299, the Kia Sportage from £399 and the Skoda Kamiq from £499. Moving up the ladder, the Vauxhall Frontera is from £699, the Chery Tiggo 7 from £749, the Hyundai Tucson from £799, the Geely Starray and Kia EV2 from £999 each, and the Volvo XC40 from £1,499. Remember that 'from' means the lowest trim; higher specifications cost more.

The biggest Q3-to-Q4 price cuts

Comparing like-for-like trims with Q3 shows some sharp falls. The Mini Cooper C Classic 156 Auto has dropped from £249 to £0 advance payment, and the VW T-Roc Match 95 from £899 to £0. The Honda Jazz Advance e:HEV is down from £999 to £749, the VW T-Cross Life 115 Auto from £1,799 to £699, and the Volvo XC40 Plus Dark 194 Auto from £1,799 to £1,499. Anyone who held off ordering in Q3 may find the same car meaningfully cheaper now.

New arrivals, and what's leaving

Five new models join the scheme this quarter: the BYD Atto 2, Atto 3 EVO and Seal U DMi, the Geely EX2 and the VW ID3 Neo — a notably electric-leaning intake. Leaving the list are the Citroen SpaceTourer and e-C5 Aircross, the Fiat Grande Panda, the Honda Civic and ZR-V, and the Hyundai Inster Cross. If you had your eye on one of the departing models, check availability with a dealer now, as remaining stock can go quickly.

Why some advance payments went up

Not every figure moved in the customer's favour. Some advance payments have risen this quarter, which Motability attributes to UK government tax changes that took effect on 1 July 2026, alongside wider industry cost pressures. It is the same reform backdrop that has been reshaping scheme costs since the summer, so the mixed picture — cuts in some places, rises in others — is not a surprise.

UK-built options and the VAT picture

Buyers who prefer a UK-built car have three brands to look at: Mini, Nissan and Toyota all manufacture in Britain. On tax, the two product lines are treated differently: advance payments on cars include 20% VAT, while WAVs are zero-rated for VAT at 0%. That difference is one reason WAV advance payments can look lower than an equivalent car's — the comparison is not quite like for like.

Powered wheelchairs and scooters: no Q4 update yet

One important caveat: the powered wheelchair and scooter section of the scheme has not yet been updated for Q4. At the time of writing it still shows the previous July-to-September pricing. The car figures above therefore do not apply to powered wheelchairs — treat the chair and scooter list as unchanged until Motability publishes its update, and do not assume any of the car discounts carry over.

How to act before the deadline

The Q4 list covers applications made from 1 October to 31 December 2026; the next price list takes effect on 1 January 2027. If a model on this list suits your needs, ordering before the end of December locks in Q4 advance payments. As always, confirm the exact advance payment for your chosen trim and adaptations with an accredited dealer before signing, since 'from' prices are the floor, not the quote you will necessarily pay.
