Switch-It CTRL+5 voice activation provides a spoken way to request programmed seating functions on compatible R-net systems. LiNX SitSmarter on the Q300 M Mini supports programmed, repeatable seating positions. These are not two interchangeable accessories for the same control setup.

Compatibility is the first comparison
The Q300 M Mini announcement describes a choice of R-net or LiNX electronics. A voice feature specified for one system must not be assumed to work with the other. Confirm the complete chair, seating system and electronics before comparing convenience features.
Assess the action the user needs to complete
A user may be able to select a function but find a sequence difficult to reproduce. Another may understand the sequence but struggle to reach the switch. These are different problems, and the assessment should identify which part needs assistance.
During a demonstration, show the intended action, the stopping method and an alternative way to operate the seating. Prescribed positions and movement sequences should be set with the relevant professional. Neither a voice command nor a saved position replaces that individual setup.
