A trike for the road, a chair for the destination
Max Jones’s touring setup combines a converted Honda Goldwing trike with a trailer carrying a WHILL C2. TGA’s June story explains that walking at destinations had become the limiting part of motorcycling, rather than the ride itself.
Max also describes buying a folding C Lite for other journeys. The distinction is revealing: equipment that works in a touring trailer need not be the equipment someone prefers for everyday car or public-transport use.
One mobility problem can have two transport solutions
The story is most useful as an example of separating tasks. Road travel, unloading and moving around a destination place different demands on equipment. Choosing one chair solely because it folds may be less useful than first deciding where and how it will be carried.
A trailer arrangement still needs its own assessment for load, restraint, weather protection and towing compatibility. The photographs show Max’s particular setup; they are not fitting instructions for another vehicle.
